Who Am I to Talk About ISO 9001?
I am an ISO practitioner who has a unconventional passion for helping newbies get started with ISO implementation. I am a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2004. I also have good background in ISO 45001:2018 (OHSAS 18001).
I have 10 years of experience with ISO implementation, from version 2008 to version 2015, handling tasks most people consider boring. What bores people makes my blood flow. Documentation. Corrective Action. Root Cause Analysis. Audit Representative. Auditor. Team Lead Auditor. So many possibilities in ISO if you take it seriously.
But I don’t claim myself as an expert of ISO 9001. In fact, I still consider myself a beginner because I know that there is so much to learn. So, in this guide, I only share what I know based on my experience.
But my experience with ISO 9001 has developed my skill in simplifying abstract concepts into something that is easily understood by anyone.
I’m sure you would agree with me that the ISO 9001 standard is not a fun book to read.
You know what, I’ve learned to enjoy reading it. Especially when insomnia hits me!
That is why when I conduct a training or a brief orientation of ISO 9001, I make it a point that it’s fun and easily digestible by the audience.
